Prosciutto di Parma” is made exclusively in a very narrow region: an area that includes the province of Parma, located south of the Via Emilia at a distance of at least 5 km from this, up to an altitude of 900 meters, bounded on the east by the Enza river and on the west by the Stirone creek.
